The signed contract commits to completion by 15 March [Contract.pdf, page 42, Section 14.1 Key Dates]. Variation 003 extended this to 30 June [VAR-003.pdf, page 2, Section 2.1], but the LD schedule still penalises from 16 March at $45,000/day [Contract.pdf, page 58, Schedule 8]. The variation didn't update the LD clause.

Professional indemnity insurance expires 28 February [Insurance_Certificate.pdf, page 1, Period of Cover]. The contract requires continuous coverage until final completion [Contract.pdf, page 31, Section 11.3]. Works may be uninsured for 4 months.

The fee proposal includes dynamic modelling and load studies [Proposal.pdf, page 8, Section 3.2 Scope]. The signed agreement explicitly excludes all dynamic modelling [Agreement.pdf, page 4, Schedule 1 Exclusions]. The client may expect deliverables that aren't contractually owed.

Features

Every file converges
to one point of clarity

Locus reads your documents and gives you straight answers. Every claim points back to the actual source — no guessing, no making things up.

Every answer has a source

Locus tells you exactly where it found each answer — which file, which page, which section. If it can't find it in your documents, it says so instead of guessing.

Works with all your files

PDFs, Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, CSVs, and plain text. Drop them all in one folder and search across everything at once.

Your files stay on your computer

Documents never get uploaded anywhere. Locus reads them right where they are on your machine. No cloud storage, no accounts, no risk.

Spot the gaps

Find contradictions between documents, catch things that don't add up, and surface problems that would take hours to find by hand across dozens of files.

Ready in seconds

Point Locus at any folder and it reads everything in seconds. Come back later and it picks up right where it left off — no waiting.

Works like any app

A lightweight app on your computer. No browser tabs, no logins to remember, no complicated setup. Just open it and go.

Your privacy

How your files stay safe

Your documents stay in your folder. Locus reads them right on your computer — nothing gets uploaded.

On your computer

Locus builds a search index inside your folder. You can see it, and delete it anytime.

On your computer

When you ask a question, only small text snippets are sent securely to get your answer. Never your original files.

Sent securely

You get your answer with exact citations. Nothing is saved or stored anywhere after that.

Nothing saved

Your documents never leave your machine. The AI only sees small text fragments needed to answer your question — then forgets them immediately.

How it works

Three steps. That's it.

01

Pick a folder

Point Locus at any folder on your computer — project files, contracts, financial records, research papers. Any mix of file types.

02

Ask a question

Type your question in plain English. "What are the payment terms?" "Do these documents contradict each other?" Anything.

03

Get a real answer

Every response tells you exactly which file, page, and section the answer came from. If it's not in your documents, Locus says so.
